Daniel Alessandro, Manhattan native, has served as Executive Vice President for Leading Retail Packaging Provider, New York, New York for nearly 30 years, since 1984. Tasked with taking charge of two non-performing divisions and turning them around, he increased sales dramatically, maximizing profits for both.
He is a proven team builder, driving business expansion, increasing profitability and introducing new products and acquiring new companies. Daniel created and implemented the Global Market Expansion project, established optimum union leadership relationship, increasing productivity and work quality and implemented new technology to increase profits. He serves on the Board of Directors and developed corporate website, adding millions in sales.
As Divisional Director of Operations for Hilti International, Inc., Schaan, Liechtenstein, from 1980-1984, international manufacturer and distributor of professional construction products and systems with $1.5B in sales, Daniel led the new division for Pneumatic Air Fasteners, dramatically boosting market share and growing sales to exceed $250M within 5 years.
From 1974-1980, Daniel managed Pan American World Airways System Operations with the $4.5B international airline carrier, and further assisted in reorganization of their $2.9B credit card operations.
He holds MBA from Long Island University and BS, Economics and Management from City College of New York, New York.
A fitness and exercise enthusiast, Daniel volunteered at hospice for 15 years and once upon a time, turned down contract as wide receiver for New England to finish his education.
